I followed in my father and uncle’s footsteps in choosing a career in medicine, and completed my training at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School in 1982. I have worked in north West London since that time, acquiring the skills needed for general practice in child health, gynaecology, psychiatry and general medicine, joining this practice in 1990. I have been a GP trainer, and a tutor in department of primary care at the Imperial College School of medicine, and continue to enjoy both, as well as developing specialist skills in minor surgery, contraceptive devices and implants, and diabetes. I represent local GPs to the primary care trust and am involved in the organisation and provision of out of hours primary care. I have 2 children, who have almost now left home, and live close enough so that I can cycle to work. I enjoy the outdoors, reading, theatre and film, when there is time! I graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1989 and moved to London in 1990 where I embarked on my GP training. I joined the practice in 1994, initially as a locum and became a partner in 1998. I have a particular interest in medicines management. I am a GP trainer and also enjoy teaching the medical students from Imperial College who are linked to the surgery. Works: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

I qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1996. After completing my house jobs I joined the St Mary's GP training scheme and subsequently Emperor's Gate as a GP registrar. Following which, I worked locally as a GP locum, returning to Emperor's Gate in 2003 as a partner. I am interested in all aspects of general practice, with particular intersts in cardiovascular disease, preventative medicine and diabetes. I am a GP trainer on the local riverside training scheme and greatly enjoy learning through teaching. I live in West London with my husband and 2 children who are bilingual in Spanish. We love family bike rides and battling the weeds and slugs on our allotment. We enjoy returning to Cantabria in North Spain each summer to visit family, friends and the beaches.
